Funders
We are funded by the following organisations:
Sport England, Podium, HEFCE, the Northern Rock Foundation, the Football Foundation and the 5 Sport Universities within the North East of England, (Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside).
And have partnerships with FA (Durham/Northumberland), DePaul Trust, Cyrenians, and numerous other agencies:

Podium
'Podium' is the Further and Higher Education Unit for the 2012 Games. The Unit has a nationwide remit and has two major aims; To communicate both within the sector and with outside agencies about the potential for Universities and Colleges to support the successful staging and delivery of the 2012 Games. To coordinate the development of activity within the sector that maximises the benefits of hosting the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in this country, contributing to the building of a sustainable and wide reaching legacy.

Northern Rock Foundation
Northern Rock Foundation is an independent charity and company limited by guarantee. Our aims are to tackle disadvantage and improve quality of life in North East England and Cumbria. We do this by investing money, time and expertise in charitable activities using several tools including grants, loans, training, research and demonstration work. We also seek to learn from and share good practice and, where appropriate, to inform and influence wider policies and practice.

Football Foundation
The Football Foundation is one of the largest sports charities in the world and certainly the largest in the UK. Funded by the Premier League, The FA and the Government, the Foundation is a unique partnership between Central Government and the UK's leading sports industry. Our mission is to improve facilities, create opportunities and build communities throughout England. As the countrys largest funder of grass roots football, the Foundation has delivered thousands of grass roots community football facility and community projects, as well as free kit and safe goalposts, since its launch in July 2000. The Premier League, The FA and the Government invest a total of 40m every year into the Foundation, ensuring that we are well placed to deliver funding at grass roots level where it is most needed, invariably in the most deprived areas of the country.
